The Fibreglass was repaired and rebuilt. A new piece of rubbing strake and
capping was scarphed in to replace the damaged sections and the
backstay fitting was re-attached.
This Swallow sustained a nasty injury in a racing incident.
She's back racing a week later. Can you see the join.?
The mast of this swallow broke and she is waiting for the final fitting of a
new one.
A rapid response was required to prevent this swallow sinking due to an
'apparently' small hole in the bow.
A new piece of Teak was scarphed into the damaged
section of rubbing strake, together with a small gel coat repair.
Summer
is a busy time for accident repairs. Prompt action by skilled Shipwrights
and painters is required to return these racing keelboats back to the start
line as quickly as possible.
