The winter refit is complete and the
Swallow fleet are currently enjoying their racing season.
A lot of major work was done this winter.

Swallow Winter Refit
Damaged rubbing strakes have been replaced on three swallows this
winter.
The Swallows are brought down to Ferryside from our remote
storage site a couple of weeks before they are due to be launched.
The work is then performed in our storage shed. Once the work is
complete, the yacht is moved out, the mast stepped and the
boat launched to the water ready for the sailing season.
The rudder on this swallow has been removed to gain access to the lower
pintle which was loose. Repairs and adjustments were made and the rudder
reassembled prior to the bottom being prepared and then antifouled before it
was launched.
A replacement mast was required for this swallow.
