The mirror fleet at Itchenor is the largest and most active in the country for all levels of junior sailors.
Racing at the top of the junior fleet is very competitive and numerous children go forward into the RYA junior coaching schemes.
The annual Itchenor Junior Fortnight Regatta held in July/August is a busy time for the junior sailors, their parents and the Haines yard.
Mirrors damaged during racing come into the yard during the day and our experienced team of shipwrights, riggers and painters repair any damage, ready for the next race.
At the end of the regatta or school holidays the boats come back to Haines for the final repair work to be completed.
Our junior owners are very proud of their little craft and our craftsmen at Haines are delighted to revive worn paintwork and varnish to its former glory.
